In 2008 he was considered the most popular leader in all of Latin America. Juan Carlos is a keen sailor and skier. He is fluent in several languages including Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Catalan.
Helmut Schmidt
Helmut Schmidt is a German Social Democratic politician serving as Chancellor of West Germany from 1974 to 1982. He also served his country as Minister of Defense and Minister of Finance. Schmidt is author of numerous books on politics. Schmidt is also a talented pianist, and has recorded piano concertos of both Mozart and Bach.
